Overseer Shiloh Masiyenyama Celebrates Apostle Sibiya's Achievements.

Apostle Pride Sibiya has become a legend after clocking twenty years in ministry. While some have surrendered after a short stint, the servant of God has endured for two decades. And this year during Tiyambuke International Christian Convention (TICC), he will celebrate two decades in ministry.

Derick Matsengarwodzi (DM) sought comments from the International Overseer Shiloh Masiyenyama (SM), the second member to join Glory Ministries. Below are the excerpts.
DM: Can you please tell us about your early days in Glory Ministries. How did you join the ministry?

SM: After a series of prayers, God told me to follow Him. I then fasted to get direction. I had attended all-night prayers hosted by Apostle Sibiya. Then I heard he was starting a church and I went to meet him. After that, I joined him becoming the first member.

DM: Can you share visions or dreams concerning the ministry?

SM: I had vision where our venue was filled to capacity. After a while people started to come in and we had an overflow of congregates and we filled the yard.

DM: Can you describe Apostle Pride Sibiya as a person and a servant of God?
Overseer Shiloh Masiyenyama Celebrates Apostle Sibiya's Achievements.
SM: There is a thin line between the two. He is a humble man, great teacher, father, prophet and an apostle. He has all the qualities of the five fold ministry in him. I have a learnt a lot from him.

DM: On average, an adult changes churches about 10 times. What has kept you faithful to the ministry for so long?

SM: I thank God for his grace upon me. Ebenezer – we have come this far. A lot of ministries started at the same time with us but they are no more. Some young pastors have lost it; they are now after money and abusing the body of Christ. I am proud to be part of Glory Ministries.

DM: Footprints of the Legends is the theme for TICC 2015. Please share your thoughts with us.
SM: What has preserved the ministry is respect of the legends – those who came before us. My father, Apostle Sibiya has taught me that whenever you meet a legend, sit under their anointing and ask questions and you will learn. Young ministers must learn to submit and be humble and get counsel.

DM: Who is a legend to you?

SM: My father, Apostle Sibiya is a legend. He has done and stood for what he believes. He stood firm against trials, tribulations and the test of time. People labelled him a satanist but he stood firm and some even joined us. His heart is for souls to come to Christ.

DM: How do you manage to cope with leadership challenges?

SM: Know your purpose and know what you are called for. Submit and be close to your leaders. Always encourage yourself.

DM: How does your current post fit into Glory Ministries vision?

SM: Our early days were to lay the ministry’s foundation. We were a national ministry but now we are international. We want to consolidate our operations and go international and minister to many people. Our father was called to mister to nations.
